FRUITCAKE COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
4 eggs
3 tbsp. milk
3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 lb. raisins
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1 1/2 lbs. broken pecans
1/4 c. grape, pineapple, or orange juice

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs; beat well. Add milk; mix flour, soda and spices together; stir into butter mixture. Stir in fruits and pecans. Add juice; mix well.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 325 degree oven until firm and golden brown. May be kept for several weeks in covered container.
