SWEET AND SOUR SAUSAGE
SAUERKRAUT
 
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Dash black pepper
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut
1 med. apple cored & cut into wedges
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. sliced onion
1 lb. Polish sausage

In skillet combine brown sugar, vinegar, water, mustard, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Stir in sauerkraut, apple, green pepper and onion. Add Polish sausage, placing it on top of sauerkraut mixture. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
