SAUERKRAUT MEATBALLS - SWEET &
SOUR
 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 env. onion soup mix
1 c. bread crumbs
3 eggs

SAUCE:

1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
1 bottle water
1 c. brown sugar
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained
1 can whole cranberries

Mix beef, soup mix, crumbs and eggs and form meatballs. Place raw meatballs in 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix sauce ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour over raw meatballs and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Can be used as an appetizer or a main dish.
