These cookies are great fast and super easy to make. I just wanted to know if you can use crunchy PB?

I add pecans. My mom made these all the time. Sometimes she used the crunchy Chinese cracker noodles. I like to use semi sweet chocolate versus cocoa, and add only one cup of sugar. They taste more chocolatey this way

Nice to see a recipe that my mother taught me when I was a kid. That was thirty years ago and I still make them occasionally. Some things never go out of style. Thanks.

I, too, made these throughout my childhood. Since I have been eating more Whole foods, I altered this recipe using dark chocolate chips, honey, gluten-free granola, and fresh ground peanut butter. Microwave chips with enough honey to make a somewhat smooth consistency. Add granola and peanut butter, and drop onto wax paper to cool. Much healthier!

My mother used to make a variation but I could never find her recipe. I believe it involved powdered sugar, oats, cocoa and butter (margarine). Has anyone made these? They weren't boiled, but mixed and rolled in balls through extra powdered sugar and then frozen.

Has anyone mailed these overseas? I'm wondering how they'd hold up going to A'stan, where it might take a few weeks to be delivered...

 Cheryl (United States) says:
Use only 2 cups oatmeal for a fudgy no bake cookie, my grandmothers recipe only calls for the 2 cups. That is the best!

This is so good. But i added marshmallows and it made it awesome. if you like this, try it with marshmallows. i gives it a chewy yummy taste.
