MICROWAVE TACO CASSEROLE 
1 lg. ground beef
1 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
3/4 c. water
1 (15 oz.) can refried beans
2 c. shredded lettuce
1 tbsp. chopped green chilies (optional)
1/4 c. chopped onions
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Nacho-flavored tortilla chips
Chopped tomatoes
Sliced ripe olives
Dairy sour cream
Taco sauce

1. Put meat into 2 quart glass casserole 4 minutes at High - until browned, drain.

2. Mix taco seasoning mix and water and add to ground beef, stir. Cover with waxed paper. Cook in microwave 5 minutes at Medium; stir once.

3. Lightly grease bottom of 2 1/2 quart open oval casserole. Spread refried beans evenly over the bottom. Sprinkle with lettuce, onions, and chilies; top with ground beef mixture. Cover.

4. Microwave 3 1/2 minutes at Medium-High or until bottom of casserole feels warm. Rotate 1/2 turn during cooking. Sprinkle with cheese on the top. Cook, uncovered, 3 minutes at Medium-High or until cheese melts.

5. Garnish with tortilla chips. Serve with chopped tomatoes, sliced olives, sour cream and taco sauce in separate dishes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
