GLOGG CONSERVE 
3/4 c. claret wine
3/4 c. port wine
1/2 c. raisins, coarsely chopped
3 c. sugar
Spice bag (see below)
1/2 (6 oz.) bottle liquid fruit pectin
1/2 c. slivered almonds, blanched

SPICE BAG:

3 lg. cinnamon sticks, broken
1 tbsp. orange peel, grated
1/4 tsp. whole cloves
1/2 tsp. ground cardamom

In 3-quart casserole, stir together claret, port, raisins and sugar. Add spice bag (prepared by placing spices on a square of cheesecloth; fold cheesecloth around contents and tie securely with string) to wine mixture, stirring well. Cover. Let stand 5 minutes. Place in microwave oven and cook at HIGH 8 to 10 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
