CARROTS AND ONIONS 
1 lb. carrots
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/2 c. boiling water
4 tbsp. butter
3 med. onions, sliced
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
3/4 c. water

Cut carrots into strips, 3 x 1/4 inch. Dissolve bouillon cube into boiling water. Add carrots and cook 10 minutes. Set aside.

Melt butter, add onions and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and water. Bring to a boil. Add carrots and simmer 10 minutes.
