APRICOT BARS WITH GLAZE 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. soft butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 large jar apricot preserves
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. almond extract
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Mix the first 3 ingredients and pat into a 9-inch square pan.

Bake at 325°F for 15 to 20 minutes. Take out of oven and spread with apricot preserves. Mix the next 4 ingredients until crumbly; spread over preserves.

Bake at 325°F for 25 to 30 minutes.

Make a glaze with the remaining 4 ingredients and drizzle over bars while warm.
