(Cut out cookies). (Christmas cookies).

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour

Beat butter and sugar together, add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill dough 2 hours or overnight. Roll out on floured surface. (May use powdered sugar instead of flour for a sweeter cookie). Cut desired shapes, bake at 350 degrees until slightly brown.
