2 c. sugar
2 c. Crisco, do not sub. butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix well. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes; do not brown. Roll into balls and flatten with a fork. Makes about 150 cookies.
