GRAM'S DANISH OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
Raisins and pecans

Cream butter and both sugars. Add egg to mixture. Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add to cream mixture. Then, add vanilla and oatmeal. Fold in raisins and pecans. Bake 5 to 8 minutes at 350 degrees on greased tins.
