SOUR CREAM CHRISTMAS MORNING
CAKE
 
1 c. butter
3 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1 c. dairy sour cream
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg yolk and sour cream. Beat until light and fluffy. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold in. Pour batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan. Sprinkle with a topping made of 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Dot with extra butter. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pan for 15 minutes.
