SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour, sifted
6 lg. eggs
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla flavor

Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beat well. Reserve 2 tablespoons of flour and put soda in flour. Add remaining flour to mixture and mix well.

Mix in sour cream, reserved flour and soda mixture. Add flavor. Bake in greased and floured pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees.
