BLUEBERRY SPICE CAKE 
3 c. flour
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. boiling water
1 c. molasses
1 c. blueberries

Sift dry ingredients together. Add blueberries. Stir lightly, covering blueberries with dry mixture. Melt shortening in water. Add molasses and sugar. Stir berry-dry mixture into shortening-molasses mixture. Pour into medium sized well greased pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
