KRINGLA 
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
1 egg
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, egg, salt and butter. Then add sour cream, buttermilk, soda, baking powder and vanilla. Mix well and add flour last. Chill overnight. Roll out the thickness of a pencil and form a figure 8. Bake at 375 degrees until light brown on the bottom. (I like to roll them on a lightly floured pastry cloth, do not roll too much flour into them as you roll and shape them. Keep the dough cold as it will absorb less flour when cold.
