7/8 c. (14 tbsp.) butter
4 tbsp. powdered sugar
2 c. cake flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter, add sugar and cream again. Stir in and blend well the cake flour, nuts, vanilla, and water. Chill and form into small date shaped pieces.

Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar as soon as removed from oven. Makes 60 pieces.
