1 lb. ground beef Onion Salt and pepper to taste 5 medium potatoes 4 carrots 1 can alphabet vegetable soup 1/2 soup can of water Fry ground beef, onion, salt and pepper until brown; drain off fat. Peel and slice potatoes and carrots. In a large casserole dish (2 quart) place 1/4 of ground beef, then 1/4 potatoes, 1/4 carrots. Continue to layer ground beef, potatoes, and carrots with some ground beef on top. Mix water and soup together; pour over casserole. Bake 400 degree oven for one hour. Serves 5. |
