ORIENTAL CHICKEN SALAD 
1/4 c. sesame oil
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tsp. five spice powder (see below)
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
2 chicken breasts, cooked, skinned, boned (about 2 1/3 c.)
1 pkg. frozen, cooked, drained pea pods
1/4 c. chopped green onions
1 (3 oz.) can rice noodles
1/4 c. chopped toasted almonds
Shredded Romaine
Preserved kumquats

FIVE SPICE POWDER:

1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. crushed aniseed
1/4 tsp. crushed fennel
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/8 tsp. ground cloves

Five Spice Powder: Combine all and mix well.
