JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
3 c. unsifted flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 c. oil
4 unbeaten eggs
1/3 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

2 tsp. cinnamon
5 tbsp. sugar
5 to 6 thinly sliced apples

Mix above ingredients together until smooth. This batter is very thick. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Alternate layers of batter and apples: spoon batter, apples, batter, apples, batter, apples.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
