JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
3 or 4 lg. apples
2 tsp. cinnamon
5 tbsp. sugar
2 c. sugar
3 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 c. oil
1/4 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla

GLAZE:

1/4 c. melted butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. orange juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bundt pan. Peel and slice apples and soak them in the cinnamon and sugar mixture; set aside.

In large mixing bowl, mix together the rest of the ingredients.

In the greased bundt pan, layer batter then apple mixture, batter, apples, etc. Bake 1 hour 30 minutes.

Pour on glaze mixture when cake is hot from the oven, still in the pan. Let it sit 1 or minutes, flip it out, then flip it back over on cake dish.
