GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
3 lbs. potatoes
1 lb. bacon
1 med. onion
1 c. white vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
Salt & pepper

Boil potatoes. Peel and cut into bite-size pieces. Dice onion. Fry bacon until crisp and chop. Pour bacon with fat over potato and onion mixture in mixing bowl. In warm frying pan, add vinegar and sugar. Heat until sugar melts. Pour over potatoes, stir. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
