1 stick butter, melted
1 egg
1 yellow cake mix (no pudding, plain)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 eggs
3 c. powdered sugar
Pecans, optional

Beat together first three ingredients. Spread in bottom of 9 x 13 cake pan, lightly greased and floured. Beat together next three ingredients and pour over first mixture. Sprinkle pecans on top and bake at 350 degrees until firm, about 40 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle powdered sugar. Cool. Very moist and rich squares.
