CREAMY NUTCRACKER FUDGE | |
4 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. half and half 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter Dash salt 1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces 4 sq. (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate, chopped 1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme 1 c. chopped nuts Combine first four ingredients in heavy 3 quart saucepan. Bring to full rolling boil for 6 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour over chocolate and marshmallow. Beat until melted. Add nuts. Pour into buttered 13x9 inch pan. Let stand several hours before cutting. Store in cool place. Makes 5 pounds. |
