“SHERRY'S APPLE FRENCH TOAST STRATA” IS IN:

SHERRY'S APPLE FRENCH TOAST
STRATA
 
8 lg slices French bread, cubed
1 (8 oz pkg) light cream cheese, cut into cubes
1 lg Granny Smith apple, peeled, sliced
Egg substitute equal to 6 eggs, such as Better n' Eggs
1 cup fat-free milk
1-1/2 tbsp. cinnamon. powdered sugar
Syrup

Spray a 11 x 7 baking dish with cooking spray. Place 1/2 of the bread cubes in baking dish. Cover bread with all the cream cheese cubes, distributing evenly. Sprinkle with apple slices. Top with remaining bread.

In a bowl, beat egg substitute, milk, and cinnamon until blended. Pour over bread mix. Cover, refrigerate overnight. Next morning, heat oven to 375°F.

Bake strata for 35 minutes or until set. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with syrup.
