PORK AND PEA PODS 
1 1/2 lbs. pork steaks, cut into thin strips
1 (1 3/4 oz.) pkg. Durkee Sukiyaki Sauce Mix
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, sliced
1 (7 oz.) pkg. frozen Chinese pea pods

Brown the pork and allow to simmer in natural juices for 10 minutes. Sprinkle sauce mix over meat. Drain mushrooms, save liquid; add enough water to make 1 cup. Add liquid to meat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add mushrooms and pea pods and simmer a few minutes, until pea pods are heated through, but are still crisp. Serve immediately over hot rice. Makes 6 servings.
