CHICKEN & PEA PODS 
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tsp. grated gingerroot
2 1/2 lb. boneless chicken breasts, skin removed & cut into strips
2 pkg. frozen pea pods
3/4 c. cashews or almonds

In 1 1/2 to 2 quart casserole combine cornstarch and soy sauce and gingerroot. Microwave at high 1 1/2 minutes. Add chicken and microwave 4 minutes. Stir in pea pods, microwave covered on high 5 1/2 to 11 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink and pea pods are tender-crisp, stirring once or twice to break up pea pods. Stir in nuts. Serves 6-8.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
