AMERICAN CHOP SUEY 
8 oz. elbow macaroni (2 c.)
1 lb. lean hamburg or ground turkey for diet conscious
1 lg. green pepper, sliced
1 good size onion, sliced thin
1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 heaping tsp. sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Put tomatoes in large saucepan and break up. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Place on low heat. Saute peppers and onions in 2 tablespoons of oil and add to sauce. Break up hamburg and fry only until all red disappears. Add to sauce.

Simmer 1/2 hour. Add water if too dry. Cook macaroni as directed on package and add to sauce when ready to serve. Serves 6.
