PEACH CRISP 
1 qt. canned peaches
1 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 c. flour
Scant tsp. baking powder

Sift dry ingredients together and crumble in 1 egg slightly beaten. Place the fruit in a buttered dish. Top with dry ingredients and egg. Then dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.

SAUCE, if desired:
2 c. rich milk
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix the dry ingredients with the milk. Cook in double boiler or in a heavy saucepan over low heat. Add vanilla and serve over peach crisp.
