CONEY ISLAND HOT DOGS 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground red pepper (optional)
6 hots dogs
6 warm hot dog rolls

In skillet cook ground beef, onion, green pepper until meat is browned. Drain off fat, add tomato sauce, water, chili powder, paprika, salt and ground red pepper. Simmer 15 minutes. Cook hot dogs in water, boil for 5 minutes. Serve hot dogs on buns and top with meat mixture.
