1 gal. apple cider
1 c. brown sugar
3 cinnamon sticks
1 heaping tsp. whole cloves
1 c. rum

Pour cider into a large old coffee maker or percolator. Add the rum to the cider. Put the basket in the pot, like for coffee, and put the remaining ingredients in the basket.

Put the lid on and plug in the unit. It's done when the perking stops.
