BARBECUE POTATOES 
4 lg. potatoes
1/2 lb. bacon
2 onions, sliced
1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Mushrooms
1/2 c. butter
Salt
Pepper

Peel and slice potatoes thickly. Peel and slice onions. Cook bacon (not too well done) and drain on paper towel. Slice mushrooms. Grate cheese. On a large sheet of tin foil place 1 layer of potatoes, mushrooms, onions, cheese, bacon, salt, and pepper. Cube some of the butter and put on top. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used. Seal foil tightly and place on barbecue. Turn frequently. Can also be baked in the oven at 400 degrees.
