ALMA'S ALMOND CRESCENTS 
1 lb. sweet butter
1 c. sugar
3 c. ground almonds (not blanched)
3 c. pastry flour, sifted or 2 c. plus 2 tbsp. sifted all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar, stir in remaining ingredients. Knead into a dough. Shape into crescents. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes.
