HOLIDAY ALMOND CRESCENTS 
1 c. butter
1 tsp. almond extract
3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 c. Quaker oats, uncooked
1/2 c. finely chopped almonds
Powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Beat butter and almond extract until fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar. Combine flour and salt; mix well. Stir in oats and almonds. Shape to form crescents. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Sift powdered sugar over crescents.
