ALMOND CRESCENTS 
1 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. hot water
2 c. flour
1 c. very finely chopped or ground blanched almonds

Cream together butter, vanilla and confectioners' sugar. Add water, then add flour. Mix well and add nuts. Shape into 2 inch crescents.

Bake on greased cookie sheet in a 300 degree preheated oven 20 minutes. Let stand for a few seconds, then remove and roll each crescent in powdered sugar.
