ALMOND CHICKEN AND RICE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 can beef consomm
1 can water
1 medium onion
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1 can mushroom pieces
4 uncooked chicken breasts
salt and pepper to taste

Brown onion (chopped) in butter. In baking dish, add consomm, can water, rice, almonds and mushrooms. Stir. Place salted, peppered pieces of chicken on top of mixture.

Bake at 350°F for an hour.
