BROILED CHICKEN 
1/2 broiler for each person

Rub chicken with lemon juice.

6-8 tbsp. butter
2 minced garlic cloves (1/4 tsp.)

Place chicken, skin side down, on preheated broiler and brush with preheated garlic butter. Broil 12 minutes, basting often. Turn over and baste often until golden brown, about 15 minutes.

SAUCE:

4 tbsp. butter
8 lg. chopped mushrooms
2 tsp. marjoram
1/2 tsp. salt
Pinch of nutmeg

Blend ingredients well together. Remove chicken from broiler rack and put in pan. Baste again with garlic butter and pour mushroom mixture over and bake at 350 degrees until tender or 20 minutes.
