WINTER FRUIT SALAD | |
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks in own juice 1 c. mandarin oranges 1 (4 serving size) pkg. cooked vanilla pudding mix 3 lg. bananas Maraschino cherries Drain pineapple juice into 2 cups measure; add enough juice from oranges to equal 1 1/3 cups. Place juices in saucepan; stir in pudding mix. Mix until smooth. Cook over low heat until slightly thickened and clear. Stir in pineapple and oranges. Refrigerate until chilled. Stir in bananas that have been cut into 3/4 inch chunks. Add a few cherries cut in 1/2 if desired for color. Chill until very cold. Serves 6. |
