WINTER FRUIT SALAD 
4 med. grapefruit
1/2 to 1 c. sugar
1/2 c. orange marmalade
2 c. fresh cranberries
3 med. bananas

Peel and section grapefruit, reserving juice. Add water to measure 1 cup of liquid. Combine with sugar and marmalade. Heat until boiling, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add cranberries. Cook and stir until skins pop, 3 to 5 minutes. Let mixture cool then add grapefruit (bite-size). Refrigerate; add bananas before serving.

For the past 15 years, I have been making this fruit salad to the delight of friends and family.
