WINTER FRUIT SALAD 
2 navel oranges, sectioned and cut into bite sizes
2 bananas, sliced
1 c. grapes, halved and seeded
1 can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve juice)
1/2 to 3/4 c. dates, seeded and quartered
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Mix together. Add 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar and 1-2 tablespoon pineapple juice if extra moistening is required. Top with a dollop of whipped cream when serving. If made ahead, add bananas just before serving. Serves 8 to 10.
