SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS 
1 1/2 to 2 lb. Italian sausage
1 med. onion
1 lg. green pepper
1 can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce

Brown sausage. If very greasy, pour off most of grease. Add onions halfway through browning. Add peppers and continue to brown. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cover (slightly ajar). Cook until sausage is done, at least 20 minutes. Can add salt, pepper, Italian seasoning to taste. Serve with crusty bread.
