FAST SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS 
1 1/2 lbs. sweet Italian sausage, cut into 1" pieces
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
2 env. Lipton tomato cup-a-soup instant soup
2/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
2 tbsp. chopped parsley

In Rubbermaid's 1.9 quart casserole, microwave sausage at High (full power) 6 minutes, stirring once; drain. Stir in onion, green pepper and instant tomato soup mix; blend with water, basil and pepper sauce. Microwave 7 minutes, stirring once. Serve, if desired, over hot, cooked pasta or Italian bread. Garnish with parsley. Makes about 4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
