HERB-BUTTERED MUSHROOMS (Fast) | |
1 lb. fresh mushrooms 1/4 c. chopped onion 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. dry sherry 1 tbsp. snipped basil or 1 tsp. dried basil, crushed 1/4 tsp. lemon pepper or cracked black pepper Halve mushrooms. In a large skillet cook mushrooms, onion and garlic in butter, over medium heat, until mushrooms are tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in sherry, basil and lemon-pepper seasoning or pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes more or until heated through. Serves 4. |
