SWEET AND SOUR CABBAGE SOUP 
Brown about 3/4 pound of lean soup meat and 2 medium size onions (sliced) in small amount of vegetable oil in large pot.

Add:

1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 sm. shredded cabbage
1 sm. can sauerkraut and juice
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. brown sugar
2-3 tbsp. ketchup
2-3 beef bouillon cubes
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4-1/2 tsp. sour salt (citric acid)
2 qts. water

Cook 1 1/2-2 hours. Adjust to taste and thickness.
