SWEDISH MEAT BALLS 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
3/4 lb. pork sausage
2 or 3 minced onions
1 c. cooked pearl barley
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 eggs
2 cans consomme

Mix all ingredients except consomme and fashion into small ball. Saute in fat until brown on all sides. Place browned meat balls into casserole and pour consomme over them. Bake in 325 degree oven for 2 hours. Serves 6 to 8 people. Also good over cooked noodles.
