FUDGE - FILLED SQUARES 
BASE:

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. oatmeal

FILLING:

12 oz. chocolate chips
15 oz. can Eagle Brand sweetened milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, soda and salt. Stir in oatmeal. Press half of mixture on bottom of greased 9x13 pan.

Filling: Melt chips, milk. butter and salt in saucepan until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Spread over base. Sprinkle reserved base mix over chocolate layer, press down. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
