PEACH COBBLER 
BATTER:

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg

In medium bowl, combine all batter ingredients, beat with wooden spoon until smooth. Drop in 9 portions over filling, spacing evenly. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, or until crust is golden. Serve warm with ice cream.

FILLING:

2 cans (1 lb. 14 oz. size) sliced peaches, drained reserving 1/4 c. syrup, and add to ingredients
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter

In medium bowl combine all ingredients. Turn into 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
