LEMON CAKE 
3 c. Bisquick mix
3/4 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
4 eggs
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. oil
Lemon syrup (below)
2 c. Cool Whip

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat all ingredients (except syrup) in large mixer bowl on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat at medium speed for 4 minutes.

Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 pan. Bake until done, 25-30 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Make holes in top of cake with fork and spread syrup evenly over top. Top with Cool Whip and chill.

LEMON SYRUP:

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. lemon juice

Mix together.
