CHERRY COFFEECAKE 
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cans cherry pie filling

Mix together all ingredients except for pie filling. Put 2/3 batter in 10x15-inch pan. Add pie filling. Dab the remaining batter on top. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with very thin powdered sugar frosting by drizzling over whole top.
