PECAN FINGERS 
1 c. butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 c. grated pecans
Powdered sugar

Cream butter. Add sugar, vanilla and water. Cream well. Add flour, salt and grated nuts. Blend. Chill about 1 hour. Shape into small rolls. Use one level teaspoon of dough. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Roll in powdered sugar while warm. Makes about 10 dozen.
