SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN WINGS | |
My family loves these wings! 20 to 40 chicken wings 1 (18 oz.) jar apricot preserves 1 (8 oz.) bottle Russian Dressing 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix (Lipton) Preheat oven 400°F Prepare wings by cutting off tips and at joint, place in disposable aluminum pan. Mix next 3 ingredients together in a bowl. Pour over wings. Put wings into oven - wait 30 minutes and then stir wings. They will be real soupy at first. Set timer and stir every 15 minutes till sauce is thick and wings slightly burnt on edges. About 1 1/2 hours total time. Great with fried rice or creamy salad and boiled red potatoes. You can substitute pineapple preserves and Catalina Dressing. When I find Russian Dressing I buy several bottles of it. This much sauce can make 20 to 60 wings. Covers well if stirred every 15 minutes. Submitted by: Cindy French |
